F.A.Q's

1.    Q.  Is Easy-Run a univeral run stand?
       A.  Yes,  Easy-Run has taken the guess work out of many engine combinations as it was
specially designed to easily adapt to the major engine manufacturers, Domestic and Import.
We produce many engine mounts that are not covered by use of factory OEM mounts.
Please take a look at our Pats Catalog, Photo Gallery page and you can call for up dates.

Our mounting systems are very adjustable for most engine manufactures and special applications.

2.    Q.  What do I do if Easy-Run does not have an engine mount for my application?
       A.  Easy-Run may opt to help you fabricate mounts at a reasonable cost if this application
would also benefit others.  We also contract special fabrication upon your request.

3.    Q.  How difficult would it be for me to make my own engine mounts?
       A.  The Easy-Run system is designed with you in mind. The front pedestals have a 5/8" stud
incorporated that provides a great fastening device for custom fabricated mounts.
Our customers tell us, they have minimal effort required to fabricate mounts for their special
mount requirement. The rear mount system also provides tremendous  adapability.
As you view our photos, I believe you will see the possiblities and our

4.    Q.  Will the Easy-Run handle high horse power and tourque engines?
Does it move all over and will it turn over?
       A.  Easy-Run has tested engines that have been proven on a dyno at over 1000 H/P.
Our design, engineering and quality components provide an extremely stable platform
            for most engine combinations.
We assure you that since the engine is not tourqueing against a resistant object as it
would be on a dyno or in a vehiocle, it has nothing to create a twisting force.
Please take look at our video section to confirm these findings.

5.     Q.  I do not have a stick shift bell housing, how do I test my engine?
        A.  Easy-Run understands that the Ford & Chrysler and some other applcations need to bolt the starter
into a bell housing. We also know that stick bell housing may not be easy to find or are expensive.

Easy-Run has your answer, we manufacture a kit that allows you to test run your automatic
transmission with your engine. It provides an oportunity to fill your trans, test for convertor
vibrations, test for front pump seals, gasgets and trans pans leaks at the same time.

6.    Q.  My restoration shop does a wide variety of older American and Foreign Cars.
Some of these have the old strait 8 cyl. engines and a few of the old Cadilac V-12
and we have don a few of the V-16's . Will they fit on the Easy-Run?
       A.  That is a great question, Easy-Run has answered that dilema in 2 ways.
            a. we do offer a run stand that is 12 inches longer then our standard unit. That has successfully
taken care of most extended engine requirements. Photo Gallery has a photo of the Extended Unit.
            b. we also offer a service of extending our units and up grading the wall thickness for
heaveier industrial applications.  In either case we suggest that you give us a call, we
like to have a measurement from the water pump pulley to the back of the mounting
                bell housig location.
                Please call for more information.

7.        Please send your questions thru our Contact Page, we would be happy to e mail you
and add your question to our list if it will help others.  You may also give us a call for help.
